Start Simple and Build From There.
You may think I am losing my marbles (btw, I question that every day), but the fact of the matter is this:
Fitness (and life) only show you the end results.
Want a 6 pack? Here is someone perfectly chiseled.
Want to squat 400 lbs? This person already does - SEE!
6 figure salary? This is the lifestyle you can live.
Baby? Here is one in a bassinet!
(You get the picture)
What if your current “end result” has led you no where near what you thought it would bring you to?
What if you kept trying to take the “easy route” and it actually led you back to exactly where you started?
Here’s the tea. You can’t go from A to Z until you have hit/accomplished every letter before Z.
What happened during this lecture I gave was nothing short of magic. I showed them the simplest, most effective things and then kept building on them through the 30 minutes of work until we had reached Q&A time.
The result?
Everyone felt comfortable and capable of doing what I showed them on their own. They developed a deeper understanding of what exactly their body is capable of doing right now. AND they even realized this is the start to feeling better.
Because in 30 minutes they ALL were feeling better!!!
Movement CAN be medicine. Life CAN be easy.
We make things more complicated by trying to take the “easy route”.
The easiest route is the one where you take it step-by-step WITHOUT cutting corners.
